Adaptive Workstations

Specially configured adaptive computing workstations are available at several convenient sites, as well as in training room locations. Adaptive workstations have adjustable tables, scanners, trackballs, and popular adaptive software.

Computing Sites:

  • 10 Arts and Science, Room 25
    • Accessible entrance located on the east entrance
    • Two PC adaptive workstations on adjustable desks
    • One large CCTV monitor
    • One Scanner
    • Software: Openbook 8.0, Readplease Free/PLUS 2003, ZoomText Magnifier/Reader 9.1, Jaws 10, Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred 10
  • Ellis Library
    • Accessible entrance located on the west entrance
    • One PC workstation on a raised table
    • One Scanner
    • Software: Openbook 8.0, Readplease Free/PLUS 2003, ZoomText Magnifier/Reader 9.1, Jaws 10
  • 122 G.O. Black Culture Center
    • Accessible entrance located on the east side (24 hour access)
    • One PC workstation on an adjustable table (workstation is labeled)
    • One Scanner

  • N26 Memorial Union
    • Accessible entrance located on the north, east and south entrance
    • One PC workstation on an adjustable table
    • One scanner

  • C240 Pershing Hall
    • Accessible entrance located on the north entrance
    • Two PC workstations on adjustable tables (workstations are labeled)

  • 142 Engineering West
    • Accessible entrance located on the north entrance
    • One raised table
    • One scanner

    • Accessible entrance located on the south and north entrance
    • Two PC workstations on raised tables

  • 004 Cornell Hall
    • Accessible entrance located on the south and north entrance

    • Accessible entrance located on the north entrance

  • 7 Middlebush
    • Accessible entrance located on the south entrance

  • 8 Middlebush
    • Accessible entrance located on the south entrance
    • One PC workstation with adjustable table
    • One trackball
    • One scanner

  • Strickland 124A, 124B, 222A, 222B
    • Accessible entrance located on the north entrance
    • One PC workstation on an adjustable table in each classroom

  • 206 Neff Mac Classroom
    • Accessible entrance located on the north or east side of the Neff Addition building
    • One Macintosh workstation on an adjustable table
    • One Scanner

  • 147 Stanley
    • Accessible entrance located on the east entrance
    • One adjustable table
