About the ACT Center

The Adaptive Computing Technology (ACT) Center is a part of the University of Missouri’s Division of IT. We provide services that help ensure students, faculty, and staff have equal access to computing opportunities. Whether we are helping with assistive technology, alternative formats, web accessibility, or workstation ergonomics, we take into account each individual’s capabilities and limitations. Our goal is to make sure that tasks, functions, information and the environment suit each user. Some options are open to everyone at MU, other options are available to currently enrolled students who are working with Disability Services and have demonstrated a need for more specialized accommodations.
